Terms of Service — STOA HOME DESIGN (U.S. & U.K.)

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using STOA HOME DESIGN, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.

These Terms apply to customers in the United States and the United Kingdom. Where U.K. consumer law grants you rights beyond what is stated here, those rights are set out separately below and always take priority for U.K. customers.

Eligibility and User Responsibility

Our services are intended for individuals 18 years or older, or for minors acting with the consent and supervision of a legal guardian. When making a purchase, you confirm that all information provided — including name, address, and payment details — is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

Orders and Shipping

All orders on our site ship free of charge — we do not currently charge a delivery fee at checkout, regardless of destination. We currently offer shipping to Brazil, the United States, and the United Kingdom. All customs duties, tariffs, and import taxes are included in your order — you will not be charged additional fees upon delivery. Shipping times may vary by location and product availability. Payments and Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). U.K. customers will see the applicable converted amount at checkout, where currency conversion applies. We accept secure online payment methods including credit and debit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and other digital wallets. Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice. However, confirmed orders will not be affected. In the event of an obvious pricing or listing error, STOA HOME DESIGN reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed in accordance with our Return & Exchange Policy, available on our website. Customers must comply with all deadlines and product condition requirements specified in that policy.

U.K. customers additionally benefit from statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (a 14-day right to cancel) and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods). These rights are described in full in our Return & Exchange Policy and cannot be limited or excluded by these Terms.

Privacy and Data Protection

We collect, process, and protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. While we implement advanced technical and administrative safeguards, no system is completely secure. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of online data transmission.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including texts, images, product descriptions, videos, logo, branding, design, and layout — is the exclusive property of STOA HOME DESIGN and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws in the United States, the United Kingdom, and internationally. Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use without prior written consent from STOA HOME DESIGN is strictly prohibited.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

STOA HOME DESIGN reserves the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud or misuse.
  • Correct pricing or content errors displayed on the website.
  • Cancel orders in the event of out-of-stock items, with a full refund to the customer.

This right does not affect your separate statutory right to cancel an order as described above (U.K. customers).

Limitation of Liability

STOA HOME DESIGN shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. We are not responsible for temporary website unavailability, technical failures, or force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, or carrier delays). In all cases, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected order.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including U.K. law.

Modifications to the Terms

We may update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. All changes become effective immediately upon publication on our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of updates.

Governing Law and Disputes

For customers in the United States, these Terms and any disputes arising from your use of our website or services are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

For customers in the United Kingdom, these Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. Regardless of the governing law stated here, if you are a consumer resident in the U.K., you remain entitled to the protection of any mandatory consumer protection provisions under the law of your country of residence, and this clause does not deprive you of those protections.

U.K. customers also have the option to use the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process for resolving disputes without going to court, where applicable; we will provide further details on request.
